D.E.A.R. Dad

Restoring Connection Through Reading

Many fathers want to be more involved—but lack models or encouragement. DEAR Dad empowers them to show up through storytime, making reading feel valuable, masculine, and deeply meaningful. When dads read, children listen—and families grow stronger.

Our Approach

Modeling Reading Behaviors

We teach fathers how to read aloud with their children—especially their sons—in ways that build trust, joy, and emotional connection. Through tone, timing, and presence, dads become storytellers and safe havens.

Workshops & Story Circles

Our guided sessions offer practical reading strategies, storytelling techniques, and opportunities for reflection. Fathers share experiences, build community, and discover the transformative power of showing up.

Why It Matters

When fathers read, children see that learning is valuable, masculine, and meaningful. When fathers engage, families grow stronger. DEAR Dad is more than a program—it’s a movement to restore connection, confidence, and generational impact.

Bonding Through Books

DEAR Dad strengthens father-child relationships through shared reading rituals. Whether it’s a bedtime story or a weekend library visit, these moments nurture a love for learning and a legacy of care.

Together, we’re rewriting the story of fatherhood one page, one voice, one heart at a time.
